തിരുവനന്തപുരം: ആയോധന കല രംഗത്തെ സമഗ്ര സംഭവനയ്ക്കുള്ള ദേശീയ ആയോധന കല പുരസ്‌കാരം തിരുവനന്തപുരം സ്വദേശി ഡോ. ജിജോയ്ക്ക്. പാരമ്പര്യ ആയോധന കല (കളരിപ്പയറ്റ്) രംഗത്തെ സമഗ്ര സംഭവനയ്ക്കാണ് പുരസ്‌കാരം ലഭിച്ചത്.
ദേശീയ ആയോധന കലാ സമിതി(National Martial Arts Committee), വേൾഡ് ആയോധന കലാ സമിതി (World Martial Arts Committee), ഏഷ്യൻ പരമ്പരാഗത സ്‌പോർട്‌സ് ആൻഡ് ഗെയിംസ് അസോസിയേഷൻ (Asian Traditional Sports and Games Association), ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ ട്രഡീഷണൽ സ്‌പോർട്‌സ് ആൻഡ് ഗെയിംസ് അസോസിയേഷൻ (International Traditional Sports and Games Association), ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ അസോസിയേഷൻ ഓഫ് കോംബാറ്റീവ് സ്‌പോർട്‌സ് (International Association of Combative Sports), ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ ഫെഡറേഷൻ ഓഫ് മല്ലുദ്ധ (International Federation of Mallyuddha), ഏഷ്യൻ മാർഷ്യൽ ആർട്‌സ് ഗെയിംസ് കമ്മിറ്റി (Asian Martial Arts Games Committee), അസോസിയേഷൻ ഫോർ നാഷണൽ സ്‌പോർട്‌സ് ഫെഡറേഷൻ (The Association for National Sports Federations) എന്നിവ സംയുക്തമായി ഡൽഹി തൽകട്ടോര ഇൻഡോർ സ്റ്റേഡിയത്തിൽസംഘടിപ്പിച്ച ചടങ്ങിൽ ബഹുജൻ സമാജ് പാർട്ടി (ബിഎസ്പി) എംപി ശ്യാം സിംഗ് യാദവ്. ജിജോയ്ക്ക് പുരസ്‌കാരം നൽകി ആദരിച്ചു.
